Peacock announced the cast for the third season of ‘The Traitors,’ revealing a few Bravolebrities, former contestants from Survivor, Big Brother, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Bachelor Nation.
The third season comes as its second season was the top unscripted series on the streaming platform, with “The Challenge” contestants CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella winning.
Here’s the complete list of the cast.
Paramount and Skydance set to merge
Paramount and Skydance have agreed to merge, combining both media companies. The merger comes amid weeks-long discussions between all parties, including Sony Pictures, which is battling to take over Hollywood's remaining movie studio.
In the end, Skydance emerged as the sole winner. Paramount owner Shari Redstone is expected to sign off on the deal soon, and an official announcement will be made in a few days.
New Hunger Games movie, alongside the upcoming book release
Lionsgate announced another Hunger Games movie, following author Suzanne Collins's previous announcement that another Hunger Games book, “Sunrise on the Reaping,” is on the way.
According to People, Lionsgate wants Francis Lawrence to return, who directed four Hunger Games movies.
The book will come out on March 18, 2025, and “revisit the world of Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.”
Instagram testing unskippable ad breaks between posts
If you’ve seen unskippable ads on Instagram, the social media platform is set to test ad breaks between posts. The Verge reported that a Reddit user found the feature when opening the app. An Instagram spokesperson later said the platform “could provide updates should this test result in any formal product change.”
